This painting was inspired by my encounter in the spiritual realm, where I saw heavenly creatures beyond anything my mind could have imagined. They were filled with joy as they sang about the incredible power of Jesus' blood.
After this experience, I realized how easy it is to limit God's works to what I already know. There are incredible mysteries that go beyond our understanding.
1 Corinthians 2:9 talks about this: "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'"
These things can only be seen in the spiritual realm, sensed with our spiritual senses, revealed in the word of God, or released to us by the Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 25:2 (NKJV): "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter."
This encounter inspired me to paint something that would challenge my thinking and break the limits of people's minds. It's common to think of God's creatures as looking like humans with wings. But I took inspiration from Ezekiel 4, specifically "The Living Creatures," which describes extraordinary beings with many eyes, wings, and faces.
It's exciting to think that God has incredible things stored up for us—wonderful, vast, and full of splendor. Untold wonders are waiting for those with a spirit of adventure, and you don't have to wait until you die to discover them.
